Methi Matar Malai







Ingredients :

1. Fresh  Fenugreek Leaves /  Fresh Methi leaves   - 1 bowl

2. Green Peas - 200 gm

3. Ginger  - lemon size

4. Garlic - 6 cloves

5. Cumin Powder - 1 table spoon

6. Coriander Powder - 1 tea spoon

7. Green Chili - 2 pieces

8. Fresh Cream - 1 cup

9. Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tea spoon

10. Salt to taste

11. Sugar - 1/2 tea spoon

12. Tomato - 1 ( finely chopped )

13. Onion - 2 ( finely chopped )

14. Oil as required

15. Cashew Nuts - 100 gm



Method :

1. Step - 1 , Take a mixer grinder jar , grind  into a smooth paste  ginger , cashew nut , garlic  and green chili and adding 1 tea spoon water gradually .

2. Step - 2 , Fresh Methi leaves or Fenugreek leaves  and Green Peas rinse , wash and cleaned .

3. Step - 3 , Take a wok , then add oil  ,when oil hot  and smoking , then add finely chopped onion and stir fry till golden color , ( about 2 - 3 minutes ) , stirring occasionally . Then add green peas , finely chopped tomato  and salt to taste . Mix it very well . Saute for about 5 minutes . Now add Ginger , cashew nut , garlic , green chili paste , add  cumin powder 1 table spoon , coriander powder 1 tea spoon , Garam Masala powder 1/ 2 tea spoon and add sugar 1/2 tea spoon . Mix it very well . Saute all spices till  oil separates . Then add fresh methi leaves or fresh  fenugreek leaves  mix it very well . Cover . Cook till green peas and fenugreek are tender . Cook for  about 10 minutes .

4. Step - 4 , After 10 minutes , open  the  cover , gravy is done . Now add 1 cup fresh cream mix very well . Switch off the  flame . Transfer to serving bowl .

5. Serve hot with Paratha , Roti or Steamed Rice .
